Camp Nou FAQ

Answers to your most frequently asked questions about the Camp Nou visit.

  • Is it necessary to book the visit to the Camp Nou in advance?

Yes, it is necessary to book the visit to Camp Nou as soon as possible. The number of tickets is limited for sanitary reasons (Covid19) but also to guarantee the comfort of the visitors.
Our advice is to buy your ticket on this page as soon as you know the dates of your stay in Barcelona.
However, you can also buy tickets at the stadium's ticket office, but you will have to wait in a queue and you will not be sure to get your ticket in the end.

  • Until what time can we visit the Nou Camp?

The entrance for the Camp Nou visit closes one hour and a half before the official closing time of the whole site. This is the ideal time to visit the stadium and the museum. For example, if the official closing time is 7:30pm, you must arrive at 6pm to do the tour.

  • How long does a visit to Camp Nou last?

The average length of the visit to the Camp Nou - stadium and museum - is between 1h30 and 2h.
None of the tours are time-limited, so you can stay as long as you like!

  • Is the price of the Camp Nou ticket the same online as at the stadium box office?

No, the price of the ticket at the stadium ticket office is higher than the ticket purchased online because it includes additional management fees. On the other hand, Camp Nou advises buying your ticket online in order to avoid queues depending on the availability of the different time slots.

  • Can I show my Camp Nou tour ticket on my cell phone?

Yes, you can show your Camp Nou tour ticket on your smartphone or tablet.

  • If I can't visit Camp Nou on the date I booked, can I reschedule?

Unfortunately not. Once the "Camp Nou Experience" tickets have been issued, it will not be possible to postpone the visit, cancel it or get a refund.

  • Where is the entrance to the Camp Nou Tour - stadium and museum?

The entrance to the Camp Nou Tour - stadium and museum - is in front of the FC Barcelona ice rink. The access is between the Barça Café and the Barça Store Camp Nou.

  • Can I visit the Barcelona Stadium on the day of a match?

Yes and no, on match days, some of the Barça facilities are reserved for the match. The full tour or guided tours are not possible:

    • The museum will be open.
    • You will have access to the Gallery of Trophies, the history of the Club, and the Messi Area.
    • You will be able to enjoy a panoramic view of the field, until 3 hours before kickoff.

    >> Note that there is a discount on the price of tickets for the Camp Nou on match days - this discount is shown when you select the number of tickets.

Please note: On Champions League days, this restriction extends from the day before as well as the price reduction applies.

  • Can we attend the training sessions of the FC Barcelona players?

Unfortunately you will not attend a training match of the Barcelona football club players during the visit of the Camp Nou. Since 2008 the training is no longer done at Camp Nou but at La Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper which is located in Sant Joan Despi, 8.5 kilometers from Camp Nou. These training sessions are not open to the public. The only way to meet the champions now is to go to the Mini Estadi around January 5 of each year, date on which the blaugranas train for the only time of the year in public. The entrance ticket is 10€. Ticket to be found on the spot that day. (Check the date of this match which may be moved due to Liga calendar).

  • Disabled access for the Camp Nou visit ?

The visit of the Camp Nou is not suitable for the people in wheelchair due to a very large number of stairs throughout the course. Nevertheless the museum with the trophy room, the historical frieze, the Messi space as well as the panoramic view of the stadium are wheelchair-friendly.

The club also offers a special service for the disabled - The Specialized Services Office (OAE) available on +34 902 1899 00

Tickets FAQ - All about your tickets to visit Barcelona

We are totally at your service to help you with any questions you may have before or after purchasing your ticket. Problems receiving your ticket? A question before you buy? We answer you within the day, all year round!

Contact us: ticketing@barcelona.com and specify your name, first name, order number if you have it and remind us your email - the same email as your order - to facilitate the processing of your file.

  • What does a 100% mobile ticket mean?

A 100% mobile ticket simply means that your ticket - which you will receive by email just after your purchase - will be - in its electronic form (PDF) - sufficient to enable you to make your visit with your smartphone or tablet. All you have to do is present it at the checkpoint. A simple scan will allow you to make your visit.

  • Can I print my ticket?

You can of course print your ticket if you don't have a smartphone, a tablet or if you simply prefer this option. Upon receipt of the confirmation email, simply print the PDF of the ticket. Then just present your printed ticket at the checkpoint.

  • What does a 100% skip the line ticket mean?

A 100% skip the line ticket means that the ticket in question allows you to enter the place you want to visit in Barcelona without queuing, for example at the ticket office. All you have to do is present your ticket directly at the entrance. This way, you won't lose any time on your day of discovery.

  • What's included with this ticket?

On this same page or on the ticket reservation page - the services included with the purchase of your ticket are systematically indicated. See the "Included" or “Inclusions” section for details.

  • Why do I have to specify a date when buying a ticket?

When you are asked to specify the date of your visit, it is because the monument or service you have chosen to visit also requests it. Most of the time, this date allows tourist sites to limit the number of visitors and therefore to make the visits more fluid. Please note that if you are not asked to specify the time of your visit, this means that you can arrive at any time to visit the site - while respecting the visiting hours of the site in question.

  • Why do I have to specify a date and time when purchasing a ticket?

Same as before, but here in addition to the date - the monument or service you have chosen to visit - also asks you to specify the time you wish to visit. Once again it is a matter of limiting the number of visitors so that your visit is as pleasant as possible.

  • With a ticket - date and time requested - do I have to arrive at the exact time or can I be a little late for my visit?

On the ticket that you will receive by email after your purchase, it is normally specified how much time - in addition to the scheduled time - you are granted in order not to lose your visit. Please note, for example, that a visit to Park Güell entitles you to entry 30 minutes after the stated time. The Sagrada Familia ticket indicates a time slot of 15 minutes. It is therefore important to respect this time slot. If the ticket does not specify a time slot, then the timetable must be respected.

  • Why are we talking about combined tickets?

We talk about combined tickets in some of our offers when they offer, for example, two places to visit in Barcelona. The ticket itself is not combined. It is two separate tickets that we combine to make a more economical and attractive offer. You will receive these two tickets by email. As they are separate you can use them according to your preference when the tickets are open or according to the dates and times you choose.

  • How to benefit from a discount for example according to age or for students?

When purchasing your ticket, discounts are always indicated when available. For example, there are regular discounts for children in different age groups, ranging from free for very young children to discounts for seniors over 65 years of age. Discounted tickets for students are indicated in the same way.

Don't forget your proof of discounts - identity card, student card... - to be shown during your visit to Barcelona.

  • What are the means of payment for the tickets?

To pay online your tickets to visit Barcelona, are accepted the classic means of payment used worldwide such as:  Visa, Mastercard, Alipay, iDeal, GiroPay or Paypal.

  • What is the difference between tours and tickets?

The difference between tours and tickets is that both types of tickets allow you to visit the main monuments of the city with a guide who speaks your language for the tours (or guided tours) or by yourself with the tickets. You can find the guided tours and tickets in our section: Barcelona Tours

You can arrive early for the visit to Camp Nou but not necessarily enter in advance of your time slot.
If there are already a lot of visitors to the museum and the stadium of Barcelona you will have to wait your turn.
These time slots are aimed at making the visits as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

    Enjoy your visit,

  34. Ahead of schedule - Bastian (13 Jul 2022 - 10:00)

    Hello!
Is it possible to arrive at Barcelona stadium before the time of the reservation and visit without waiting?
    Thank you in advance,
    Bastian

  35. @Arthur - Barcelona.com (24 Jun 2022 - 12:08)

    Hello Arthur,
The Camp Nou tour will be possible during the renovation works.
However, it is now known - and you are right - that Barcelona's matches for the 2023/2024 season will not be held at Camp Nou but at the Lluis Company Olympic Stadium, located six kilometers from Camp Nou stadium.

  36. Camp Nou tour and works in 2023? - Arthur (24 Jun 2022 - 08:54)

    Hello,
I hope to visit Camp Nou next year. I've just read that work will start on the renovation of the Barcelona stadium.
Will visits still be possible in 2023?
    regards,

  37. @Jem - Barcelona.com (21 May 2022 - 09:56)

    Hello Jem,
For the refund of the Camp Nou Basic ticket.
You have 2 solutions when you buy it:
    > buy the standard Camp Nou Basic ticket which is not refundable.
    > buy in addition - to the Camp Nou basic ticket - the option "refundable tickets" which allows a refund up to 24 hours before the scheduled date of the visit.
This option slightly increases the price of the ticket but allows you to have peace of mind in case of a setback.
    Enjoy your visit!

Camp Nou tour was great, great organisation and fantastic visit. It is very didactic and well staged.
The English clubs should take inspiration from it... but they never leave their home country ;-)
