Taco Alto

A great success for Taco Alto, which this year opened its third restaurant in Barcelona.

On the spot, do not say restaurant but "auténtica taquería mexicana" at the risk of angering the owners who are proud of this appellation.

It is true that everything here is done in the respect of tradition: famous tacos made from corn flour - many sauces more or less spicy but always made from chile peppers whose names make you travel and dream: Chipotle, Serrano, Pasilla .

The little twist that appeals to Barcelona's inhabitants is the taco menu, which is both traditional as with taco Pastor (pickled pork and pineapple) and creative as with taco Baja, made with fish coated in corn flour, red cabbage mayonnaise and chipotle.

With a good Mexican beer, count about fifteen euros for an excellent meal!
