The staff at this hotel were incredibly kind and accommodating. They provided great recommendations for public transportation, shopping, and nearby banks. The location was ideal. The room was cozy and the breakfast restaurant was top-notch. My only issue was the lack of coffee making facilities in the room, but apparently that is standard in Spain.
My stay at the Onix Fira Hotel in Barcelona was great! I was impressed with the friendly front of house staff, who were incredibly polite and helpful. The room was very functional, but the decor could use a little updating to make it a five-star stay. The breakfast was good, providing a variety of items, though they stayed the same each day. All in all, I had a great experience at the Onix Fira Hotel.
The location is ideal, that it is all I can say.
The photos I saw online were not an accurate reflection of this place. We had a hard time fitting our 13-month-old's crib in the room, so we just ended up taking it out. The furniture was worn and dirty, and looking out the window revealed a view of garbage. There were ants everywhere, and it was difficult to take a bath for the baby in the bathroom because of the window size. The door was broken and you could hear every sound coming from the other rooms. The cleaning lady was quite loud, and there was smoke in the hallway. The breakfast room had virtually no natural light, limited food variety, and no vegetables. The only favorable point was the ideal location.

We had an amazing stay at Onix Fira Hotel! We arrived early, and Hector kindly let us check in early. The reception looked great and the room was spotless. We were especially impressed by the amazing power shower! The location is fantastic for tourists, with some lovely restaurants nearby. Although there isn't tea or coffee in the room - a vending machine in reception would be a great addition - there are plenty of coffee bars close by. We absolutely loved the refreshing rooftop pool! We visited this hotel for 3 days. It is conveniently located just a few meters from Plaza Espanya. From this point, you can walk to many popular attractions or take the metro to wherever you want to go. Plus, bus 46 goes to and from the airport; it's only a 30-minute ride. The rooms are cozy and warm. The breakfast has a decent variety, which is great for starting your day. In short, we would definitely come back.
