Abba Sants is a great choice for city break.
Just a short walk from Sants Station and with a metro stop right outside, this hotel provides easy access to anywhere in the city. The spacious room was perfect for our group, and the beds were very comfy and inviting. Also, the wifi was speedy and reliable. This property is an excellent choice for a city break.
This hotel was in an excellent location, conveniently close to a metro station and Sants train station. It was a quiet area, and the air conditioning in the room was great. We had a really good burger and the WiFi was sufficient. Breakfast was also tasty, and the staff were very professional. This is a great choice for business or leisure travelers.
We had a tour group stay at this hotel, which wouldn't be my first pick since it wasn't super close to major tourist attractions. It was conveniently situated right next to a metro stop though, so getting around the area was easy. The rooms were clean and nicely appointed. The breakfast buffet was tasty but lunch and dinner proved to be quite a challenge, as several people in our group found the food either under- or overcooked. The staff were friendly and helpful though!
The Abba Sants Hotel in Barcelona had some unfortunate drawbacks when it came to our stay. The rooms were dirty and the check-in process was chaotic. Fortunately, the hotel was in a very good location just a few steps away from the subway. We were also aware that booking websites often present pictures that are not always an accurate representation of reality - the photos we saw were much nicer than the actual state of the room. Cleaning services were obviously needed in the room, as the carpets were dirty and the bathroom had mold. The room number 301 was old-style and not as stylish as the pictures suggested. It was also not modern.
We arrived in Barcelona and stayed at Abba Sants for one night before heading to Madrid. The front desk staff was incredibly accommodating and allowed us to check-in early which was greatly appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable but the hallway was quite noisy. The washroom had a lingering smell which was unpleasant. The breakfast provided was good with a great selection. Also, the hotel was within walking distance to the train station, which was very practical. All in all, Abba Sants is a 3 star hotel and overall I would recommend it to other travelers.
