We were highly recommended to stay at Aparthotel Silver by our cab driver and it did not disappoint. The reception staff were friendly and eager to assist us throughout our stay. The room was a delight, equipped with a small kitchenette and all the necessary utensils, a spacious fridge, and a well-sized bathroom. And the cherry on top, the location was impeccable. Tucked away from the touristy areas but still within easy reach of all the necessities. The train and subway station were just a block away, and there was a great selection of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Our experience at Aparthotel Silver was truly enjoyable.
I had a fantastic experience at this hotel! The cleanliness was top-notch and the staff were amazing - so welcoming and willing to assist. Plus, the location couldn't have been better - just a short 3-minute stroll to the Metro. Highly recommended and I would definitely choose to stay again in the future.
Stayed here a year ago in September 2022. Looked at many places and areas in Barcelona and hoped the reviews were true. And they were. It’s a small hotel that was in a good location in a safe area for a solo female traveler. Close to metro (about a block away) with many stores, bakeries, and restaurants close by. The room was fine for one person with a small kitchenette and fridge. Comfortable bed and clean room. Breakfast (added cost) was ok with a served plate of hams and cheeses with croissant and a cup of coffee and juice or tea. Staff was friendly and helpful with any questions and recommendations. I remember having several nice chats with one of the staff members and they were great. It’s within walking distance to the center (about 20 mins or so) and not in a busy touristy area, which I liked. It was also quiet at night and you would get a good nights sleep. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again especially if you’re traveling solo. Good safe location with a great staff! ….
We had an incredible stay at this aparthotel situated in the Gran de Gracia neighborhood. The rooms were cozy and spotless. The staff were amiable and spoke multiple languages, especially Assunta who was an absolute diamond. It was conveniently close to the metro yet distanced from the hustle and bustle of the tourist spots. We couldn't be more content.
Stayed here for the second time and it was great! Service was friendly and the rooms were perfect - they provided a stool to help me access the upper shelves which was very helpful as I'm 4'10". Rooms were modern and updated, 24/hr front desk making it very secure, plus no yucky carpets - laminate/hardwood floors instead. The room I stayed in had a laptop safe in the closet which was a nice bonus, though not necessary as you can always lock your things in the suitcase. Great location too, Nestled between 3 subway stations with a big shopping street 1 1/2 blocks away and lots of supermarkets nearby. It's also a very walkable city - I walked to Sagrada Familia and Pl/Cataluña which took about an hour.
Hotel Silver also offers breakfast but I didn't try it as I'm vegetarian and don't eat dairy or pastries. There are lots of restaurants in the area if you're looking for something to eat. Airport connections are super convenient - take the L9 Sud subway to Ciutat Universitaria then change to L3 in the direction of Trinitat Novaget and get off at Fontana Metro (previous station Diagonal). Hotel is less than 2 blocks away and there's a ramp at the station making it easy to drag your suitcases around. I'm tentatively planning another long stay here in February but rates are only out in October so I've tentatively queried another property in the area as well. Fingers crossed the Silver has availability when the rates come out!
