This was an outstanding boutique hotel with incredible customer service. The team was fantastic and so willing to help. The beautiful old building was looked after carefully and easy to locate. Moreover, the 24-hour buffet was an ideal spot for anything from breakfast to snacks (I had some fantastic frozen yogurt on an extremely hot day) and a light dinner if needed. Additionally, they were happy to adjust to any dietary requirements.
This particular accommodation is within close proximity to Plaça de Catalunya, as well as an abundance of bus stops and metro stations. The personnel were always very kind and welcoming, yet the guest room could have done with a bit of remodeling. Regrettably, there were two cockroaches during our stay – one in the guest room and another in the hallway. Thankfully, I was able to take care of the first one and a hotel staff the second one.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The bed was wonderfully comfy and the pillows incredibly soft, and the staff were incredibly pleasant. We were delighted to find that there was 24 hour access to food and drinks, and were even more pleased to find that our early arrival due to our cruise hadn't been an issue. The location here is great, with lots of shopping and sightseeing opportunities within easy reach. We'd definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others.
I had a fantastic time staying at the Hotel Continental Palacete in Barcelona. The hotel is a great combination of grandeur and quirkiness - there was complimentary food, wine, and beer available around the clock. The owner even held a jazz party where plenty of cava was served, and all hotel guests were invited. It was a jolly time! Plus, the location is perfect as there are plenty of tapas restaurants just steps away from the hotel.
