Catalan /Oriental fusion tapas!

Knowing the history of Spain, it's not surprising - but a real pleasure- to discover this new kind of fusion foods: Ziryab is a tapas bar where arab and catalan cuisine meet together again!
If you like babaghanoush, laban, hummus but also catalan recipes, catalan cheeses and Jabugo, this is the place to try this mixed cuisine. We enjoyed "Large juicy Arabian dates wrapped in bacon and grilled" and also a "Grilled Arab Halloumi cheese wrapped in traditional cured ham". Our favourite is the daily degustation menu at 18€/person, a great way to taste about all the subtle flavours of this cuisine. In El Born, Ziryab is also a wine bar and a concert place…

As I learned more about Antoni Gaudí's life while visiting his works, I was deeply impressed by his devotion to architecture and his unique artistic vision. He was a passionate man who devoted his life to creating extraordinary buildings.

not to miss If you like Gaudi
The architecture of the Palais Güell is very distinctive, with a slightly Gothic atmosphere, but whether you like it or not, the visit is well worth the diversion. I recommend the audioguide (included in the price of admission) which, as well as being very well produced and comprehensive, is essential for understanding the history of the place and imagining the life of its inhabitants. Allow a good hour.
