Arola

Arola - Barcelona
Arola restaurant in Barcelona is located on the second floor of the luxury Hotel Arts.
One comes there for its brand new pop design, its beautiful terrace in front of Frank Gehry's giant wale and great live music set with local DJs.
But not only!
Catalan chef Sergi Arola is a rising star of Spain's culinary world. Disciple of Ferran Adrià and Pierre Gagnaire, Sergi Arola offers here a fine “menú degustación pica-pica » that is a selection of tapas:
And many others hot and cold surprises.
This testing menu of tapas is at 50€
But you can also have main courses “A la carte” that bring you to an upper level of the dexterity of the head chef with:
A well-stocked cellar offers over 900 wines..
This guy is magic !
Better book..

The food was excellent. Service was friendly, but a complete mess. Please, do something about this. Your chef deserves better!

If you are looking for an exceptional experience, don`t forget to visit this restaurant in Barcelona. Tapas is a synonym of Barcelona and pairing with a wonderful cocktail service and music, it makes really outstanding experience. Every time I visit to Barcelona, there is no question to repeat such a great experience with Arola Restaurant in Ritz Carlton Barcelona. Recommended 100%!!

Worst Michelin 2 star restaurant. Food is hit and miss, service from a waiter from Italy who has been working there for only 10 months. Dropped my napkin when I went to the bathroom and they did not replace it. When I asked what happened to my napkin, the waiter said you dropped it, no replacement, can you believe that!!!
Music was too loud, wine list was overpriced. Nothing was good at this restaurant, how the **** did they get 2 stars!!!
Terrible! - Warren B (2 Aug 2012 - 08:30)
Probably the worst restaurant I have ever been to at this level. Four dishes on tasting menu were inedible, staff were poor and I had to leave table twice to order drinks.
Do not waste your money!
