As you are walking down Aragó street, next to Rocafort, suddenly you find a restaurant called Can Vallès.

 

One might think that he has bumped into another Barcelona's bar, and here comes the big mistake. This restaurant with, at first gland, simple appearance, has a lot to show us.

 

The quality, detail and care of the dishes is equivalent to the outstanding restaurants in the city. Recipes made with the best products on the market.

 

Some dishes: chickpeas with lobster, pork feet cannelloni, fresh seafood, meat served on a hot stone, fresh salads and some very nice tapas!

 

The desserts...? Try the cheesecake or chocolate cake with cinnamon ice cream.

 

And.. the best wines selection!

 

Do not forget to book in advance as this is a small but very popular place .

Easily the best meal we have had in Barcelona.  Just the place for my wife and I to celebrate 28 years together. From the moment we walked through the door to the moment we left the attention and friendliness was par none.  It was almost a sad good by.  
Starting with the tomato onion salad nicely balancing the tuna with a touch of balsamic and olive oil. The carpaccio that followed was like a true excitement of to the palate. The slight fruity touch against a delightful mustard just brought out the flavor of the paper thin meat accompanied by just right toasted bread.  As if that was not enough to explode the senses what followed shall truly imprint in my gastronomic brain reservoir   The grilled veggies perfectly roasted along with the bone in beef cut on a sizzling stone was just what I craved.  As the sadness of finishing our dinner was setting in, it was immediately vanquished by the best buñuelos I've had.   My dreams will be sweet in deed as we head back home.  Till next time Can Vallès

Covered market. Very pleasant with the smell of flowers at the entrance. There are tables and chairs in the aisles so you can eat there. Coffee and potato tortillas available.

I came across the most incredible store i have seen in a long time and I have been living im Barcelona for over 20 years. It’s called Pachulí Interior & Lifestyle and is situated in El Born. It’s a bit hidden which is a shame cause I think everyone should experience this authenticity and unique place. Just go and check it out already!!

    Gran restaurante situado cerca de plaza España. Aparentemente pequeño, pero con una cocina bien cuidada, moderna, y con productos frescos. Me sorpendio el canalon de pies de cerdo, buenisimo! Y no dudeis de pediros un buen chuleton para los amantes de la buena carne. De postres recomiendo la tarta de queso o los buñuelos de chocolate. De las pocas veces que he ido he salido fascinado y no dudo de volver siempre que puedo, aunque es preferible reservar y que siempre esta lleno.

    Rien à redire.. Can Vallès est une superbe adresse. L'impression d'être vraiment dans un restaurant de catalans pour catalans, un endroit où le temps semble s'être arrêté. cuisine parfaite, fraîcheur absolue, pas de fantaisies mais des accords parfaits.. tout ce qu'on adore!
