Hawaiian and healthy take away for the beach

The poke fever arrives at Barcelona with the opening of the first take away specialized in this Hawaiian dish: Poké Maoli.

The poke is a typical dish of the Hawaiian gastronomy. Based on raw fish cubes marinated in a base salt-oil, mixed with  condiments (molluscs, algae, soya sauce, sesame oil, pepper, salt.). In a bowl, from where the expression Poke Bowl, one adds to this base vegetables, fruits - avocado and tomato - and often cereals like rice, German wheat, boulgour and finally  seeds. Poke bowl is a dish quite known now in healthy restaurants.

Near to the beach of Barceloneta Poké Maoli offers two or three stools to taste its poke on the spot but the principle is the take away.
Small poke bowl costs 9.90€ (300gr) large poke 12.90€ (450gr). The spicy poke is delicious just like the vegetarian. If you are very greedy, you can make yourself your own poke bowl.

Healthy, not expensive, Poké Maoli is the good spot of the summer.
