As I learned more about Antoni Gaudí's life while visiting his works, I was deeply impressed by his devotion to architecture and his unique artistic vision. He was a passionate man who devoted his life to creating extraordinary buildings.

not to miss If you like Gaudi
The architecture of the Palais Güell is very distinctive, with a slightly Gothic atmosphere, but whether you like it or not, the visit is well worth the diversion. I recommend the audioguide (included in the price of admission) which, as well as being very well produced and comprehensive, is essential for understanding the history of the place and imagining the life of its inhabitants. Allow a good hour.

    Il faut y aller quand il y a du rugby à la télé , j'y été pour la demi finale, "angleterre/france " écran géant dehors / dedans , des supporters des deux camps , une ambiance de fou ,et sans surprise le patron irlandais été pour la France.
    Les bières sont bonnes le champagne aussi .
    Le parking des ramblas juste au dessous .

    We are coming to Barcelona every year and we keep coming back to Flahertys. A stunning range of beers at good prices. The waiters are very friendly and prefessional and we enjoy the great mix of people.

    pool table as well. 5 mins on pedalo taxi's the the beach (hope the sun is
    out!!!). does breakfasts.

    Took a while to fint it as its at the end of the Ramblas and I've usually stopped in a couple o fother places first if you know what I mean. Quite a nice place, quite large so no cosy atmosphere. Boddingtons, on draught - worth a visit especially if there's football on
