Homemade alcohols & cocktails!

For the amateurs of cocktails, Barcelona is the dreamed city where almost every day brings a new bar opening. The most outstanding one of 2017 is the arrival of Macera.

Not far from the famous concert hall “Sala Apolo” Macera offers an innovative concept, that is to serve alcoholic beverages based on homemade macerations.
An ancestral technique: with alcohols manufactured especially for them, Macera proceeds on the spot to the most erudite mixtures before letting macerate, sweeten, diluted and finally serve these artisanal drinks.

A unique opportunity to discover or rediscover Catalan and Spanish specialties which often disappoint fault of ingredients of quality. Here it’s the opposite, to the technique joints a true passion for grasses, spices, roots and fruits. You’ll discover delicious “pacharán, orujo of hierbas, hierbas ibicencas” and other famous cocktails –  made without using any alcohol of brand – like the Gin Giró, the vodka apple ginger or the whisky with cherries.

All drinks are at 7€.

After Madrid (open in 2015) it is quite sure that Barcelona will succumb to the virtues of macerations!
